Daniel Evans is a highly seasoned information technology expert with over 32 years of dedicated experience, specializing in various domains including cyber security, managed service provider (MSP) solutions, data warehousing, business intelligence, data mining, analytics, and reporting. Currently, he utilizes his extensive expertise as part of Healthcare Management Partners, where he focuses on delivering successful technology solutions.
With over 28 years of combined experience in healthcare and technology, Daniel has demonstrated proficiency in rapidly deploying large-scale, high-performance data systems. His tenure at The SSI Group saw him leading the development of core data warehousing infrastructure and reporting solutions. He is skilled in all phases of the project life cycle, from leadership to implementation, and has a deep understanding of the importance of fostering a well-organized team environment.
Daniel serves as the CEO of HMP Technologies, LLC, a managed service provider offering support to over 20 long-term care facilities. Additionally, he holds the position of CEO at HMP Metrics, LLC, overseeing a web application providing financial data for hospitals and skilled nursing facilities nationwide. Within Healthcare Management Partners (HMP), Daniel operates as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), offering technology leadership and insights on cyber security, data analytics, and business intelligence.
Before his current role, Daniel gained valuable experience architecting systems for major corporations such as Johnson & Johnson and Raymond James. He has developed solutions utilized by prominent hospital systems including Catholic Health, Providence Health, and Carolinas HealthCare System. His tenure at The SSI Group, Inc. as Principal Architect involved providing revenue cycle management solutions and analytics, focusing on areas such as Denial Management, Claims Processing Management, and Payer Reimbursements.
An avid enthusiast of technology, he holds a degree in Computer Science from The University of Southern Mississippi. His passion for innovation and his wealth of experience make him a valuable asset in the ever-evolving landscape of information technology and healthcare.
